Hearts fans warn Ghana FA over referees chief return

Hearts of Oak fans have threatened to turn the Ghana FA 'upside down' if Osei Tutu Agyemang is re-instated as Referees Committee chairman.

Agyemang, who doubles as a Regional FA chairman, was recommended by the ethics committee to be removed as a result of comments made suggesting an abuse of his office.

He is alleged to have said he will use his position to influence referees to Kotoko win the Premier League.

It has emerged that the Executive Committee has asked him to continue with his job and only reprimanded him to be mindful of his words.

The Hearts fans are furious and say they will vehemently protest if the referees' chief returns to his post.

''It can never be that Kotoro [Osei Tutu Agyemang] should continue his job,no one can take such a decision other than that, all the sub committees will be dissolved'' Alhaji Akanbi told Fox FM.

''Are they trying to tell us the ethics committee has no locus to make recommendations? We will turn the GFA upside down if they take any such decision because this man has helped Kotoko get to their current position,'' he added.
