Hearts of Oak have formed a committee to critically look at players’ welfare in terms of remuneration.

The move forms part of Management’s determination to enhance rewards given to players for improved performances.

Membership and size of the committee is yet to be made public but Chief Executive Fred Crentsil believes it will go a long way to improve the performance of the team.

“We have put in place a remuneration and emoluments committee to look at the players’ salaries and bonuses,” he said.

“Everything which has to do with improving the performance of the players will be catered for.”

The Phobians are looking to reclaim the league title they last won in 2009 this term from rivals Asante Kotoko.
