Hearts frustrate Abubakar by concealing Europe deal

Hearts of Oak are frustrating midfielder Moro Abubakar attempts to move to Europe by concealing an interest from Czech side FC Slovacko.

The top-flight club has invited the tough-tackling midfielder for a seven-day trial with the club which should have started on 20 June.

But Hearts have refused to inform Abubakar of the interest FC Slovacko even though the player is aware there is interest from the Czech Republic.

The invitation letter signed by the general secretary of the club Petr Pojezný shows that the midfielder will join their pre-season training for one week before a decision is taken on him.

But with Hearts aware that the player could move on a free transfer as his contract with the club expires next month they are employing all tactics to frustrate him.

Abubakar has been angling a move away from the Accra-based club with Berekum Chelsea, Medeama and Kotoko all said to be keen on him.

It was even suggested that the ex-Mighty Jets enforcer could pocket 70,000 Ghana Cedis if he agrees a deal with Berekum Chelsea.

Chelsea’s rivals Medeama have also reportedly tabled US$ 21,000 offer for the player.
