Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have earmarked Techiman Eleven Wonders defender Rashid Alhassan as a top target in the transfer window.

The Phobians are looking at beefing their problematic defense before the second transfer window closes with the signing of the strong guardsman.

According to reports, the Phobians have contacted the representatives of the player and are in advanced negotiations for the services of the player.

The Rainbow club have been bumping at the doors of the Techiman based outfit, having already agreed a deal to sign midfield dynamo Salifu Ibrahim.

Alhassan like Salifu Ibrahim are someof the few players to have won Man of the Match awards with the club this season.

The Accra based outfit have had to switch between experienced center back Nuru Sulley and rookie James Sewornu in the ongoing campaign due to the lack of consistency at their backline.

Alhassan was Man of the Match in Eleven Wonders 1-0 win against King Faisal.
