Hearts of Oak are keen to tie trio Douglas Nkrumah, Obed Ansah and Philemon McCarthy to long term deals.

Their contracts run out at the end of the current campaign.

"They're important players for the club and will play an integral role for us and that’s why we want ensure we keep them to help us. We're working on a new deal for them and at the right time the detail will be made public," A source at the Hearts secretariat told GHANAsoccernet.com

The club want to tie them down on a permanent basis to ward off any potential swoop for the players.

Hearts want to rebuild the side that have been woeful all season and currently lie at an embarrassing 11th position on the league table with four games left.
