Hearts manager Robbie Neilson  is confident midfielder Prince Buaben will be available to face Partick Thistle this weekend.

The Ghanaian suffered a hamstring injury and was replaced by Jordan McGhee after 54 minutes of Saturday’s 2-1 win over Ross County.

The 27-year-old has started every league match so far despite a disrupted pre-season.

“I didn’t expect Prince to play the full match,” said Neilson. “He played last Saturday and then Wednesday.

“I thought we’d get about an hour out of him but he tightened his hamstring up. We’ll just need to manage that and get him ready for Partick Thistle. He’ll be fine for that, I’m sure.”
