Midfielder Laryea Kingston is relishing a quick return from suspension to help Hearts challenge for Premier League honours.

The 31-year-old is serving an indefinite suspension after he clashed with head coach CK Akunnor for breaking camp rules in the pre-season.

Though no timeline has been given for the return of the former Ghana international into the fold of the club, he says he is eager for the issue to be resolved quickly.

“I have not heard from anybody. No one has called me. I have a contract with the club and so if they call me, I won’t hesitate to re-join my colleagues,” Kingston told Kumasi-based Fox FM

“If they call me back, I will have no option but to join them.

“Hearts is on my heart and nobody can question my love for the club. Nobody can take that away from me.

“If they lift the suspension today, I will join the club today.”

Kingston will be miss their season’s opener against Tema Youth on Sunday October 7.
