Hearts of Oak assistant coach urges fans to support team amid poor start

Hearts of Oak assistant coach, Nana Yaw Amankwah, has called on the club's supporters to rally behind the team as they endure a difficult start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians find themselves in the bottom three, having lost in their opening two games.

They were beaten by newly promoted Basake Holy Stars and then suffered a 2-0 loss at Heart of Lions.

This has led to frustration among fans, many of whom are demanding the dismissal of head coach Aboubakar Ouattara.

In response, coach Yaw Amankwah has appealed for patience and continued support, assuring fans that the team will bounce back and avoid relegation.

"It is too early for anyone to say Hearts of Oak will be fighting relegation. Hearts of Oak will never be relegated," he stated, expressing optimism that the club will turn things around as the season progresses.

Hearts of Oak's next game is against Bechem United.
