Hearts of Oak Board member Vicent Odotei-Sowuah loses parliamentary seat

Hearts of Oak Board Member,  Vicent Odotei-Sowuah has been unseated as the Member of Parliament for La Dadekotopon constituency in the New Patriotic Party parliamentary election held on Saturday.

Vicent Odotei-Sowuah, the incumbent lost to the aspiring member of Parliament Joseph Gerald Tetteh Nyanyofio by a winning gap of 167votes.

Vicent Odotei-Sowuah had 376 votes while Joseph Gerald Tetteh had 543 votes to win the ticket on behalf of the NPP in the constituency.

According to reports, the former Hearts of Oak MD shared blenders plus cash of Ghc 50 to all the delegates in the constituency prior to the election but still lost the seat.

This is another big blow to Vicent Odotei-Sowuah whose appointment as the Deputy Minister for Communication was revoked by the President Nana Akufo-Addo in April.
