Hearts of Oak coach Edward Nii Odoom has rejected the idea of bringing Italian-based Montova FC to the club ahead of forthcoming season, according to media reports.

Yeboah was reported to have agreed to terms with the Phobians ahead of the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

Yeboah who currently is a free agent after leaving Serie D side Fidelis Andria last season has been training with the Accra-based giants.

However, reports in the Ghanaian media indicate that coach Edward Odoom has pulled the plug on the deal as he was not impressed by the player's output during the trial.

The 25-year-old joined Serie D club U.S. Savoia 1908 after a successful trial during the 2013/14 season at age 18.

He left U.S. Savoia 1908 after one year to sign for Italian Serie C outfit Catanzaro.

The Ghanaian attacker joined several Serie D clubs such as Turris, Taranto, Gelbison, Ercolano, Roccella, Messina, Mantova and Chieri.

Yeboah scored 33 goals and provided five assists in his 137 game outings for all the above-mentioned clubs during his stay in Italy.
