Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu presents top award to Togbe Afede

Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu Thursday presented the top award he won recently to the club's Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV. 

Boadu also presented the Ghana Premier League coach of the season award to board member Vincent Sowah Odotei.

The former Medeama gaffer was deservedly awarded the prize following an incredible season with the Phobians.

A visibly ecstatic Togbe hailed Boadu and congratulated him for his latest achievement while urging the Kumasi native to achieve more.

Boadu a mid-season arrival inspired Hearts of Oak to win the league ahead of Asante Kotoko ending the Phobians over a decade wait for the title.

Aside from winning the league, Boadu's side captured the MTN FA Cup to end the 2020/21 campaign with two trophies.

Their focus is now on excelling in the CAF Champions League with their first match scheduled for September 12.

They have been paired against Guinean side CI Kamsar in the preliminary round
