Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have confirmed the indefinite suspension of head coach Frank Elliot Nutall.

In a statement signed by the communication director of the club, Kwame Opare Addo, stated that the English gaffer displayed “unsporting and unethical behavior which contradicted the club’s code of conduct.”

The decision was taken at an emergency meeting yesterday, Monday February 12, 2018, after the the GHALCA G8 silver winner confessed to the crime he’s been accused of.

Though reports say the MTN FA Cup finalist is suspended for his alleged involvement in the exit of some playersthe club in its statement is tight lipped about the reasons behind their decision to suspend the man who has divided opinions in the Phobia fraternity.

Hearts of Oak statement suspending Head Coach Frank Elliot Nuttall for ‘unsporting and unethical behavior which contradict the code of conduct of the club.’

They however added that a three member investigative team has been assigned to find details of his ‘unsporting and unethical behavior that contradicted the code of conduct of the club’ and make recommendations for the Board in four days time.

Henry Wellington will lead the club temporarily until the the disciplinary issue is fully addressed to the satisfaction of both parties.

Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe leader of the investigative team in a interview with state-owned newspaper Graphic Sports last year, questioned the commitment of Nuttall, who took charge of the club from the second game against Medeama SC last season.

"His relationship with the technical team is not good at all; he does not listen to suggestions and he is the type who, when he says something, it should be final.”

He wanted the Scottish sacked before his arrival in the country for pre-season. Nuttall had bad blood with some officials, notably Corporate Affairs Manager of club, Kwaku Sakyi Quashie during the off season tournament organised by GHALCA — GHALCA G8 following their defeat by Medeama SC at the Cape Coast stadium.

With the above, Hearts of Oak could replace Frank before the start of the new premier league season, which was recently injuncted by Great Olympics after judicial institutions of the Ghana FA failed rule protests brought before them to their satisfaction.
