Hearts of Oak could still axe Sammy Adjei, Abban and Osei

Accra Hearts of Oak could still sack star trio Sammy Adjei, James Abban and Godwin Osei Bonsu, according to reports in the local media.

The Phobians have already axed 12 players for non performance.

Coach David Duncan has earmarked five new players to be brought in as replacements for the departed players.

Former Ghana No.1, Sammy Adjei, has struggled to shine this season with Tetteh Lugard and Philemon McCarthy emerging as favourites for the first choice role.

Duncan is weighing the option of asking Adjei to look elsewhere.

Striker James Abban who joined from city-rivals Liberty Professionals last season could also be heading away from the capital club if a new striker is brought in.

While defender Osei Bonsu is also facing the sack for unimpressive form.
