Hearts of Oak defender Michael Awuah Mensah has expressed his strong commitment to making a significant impact for the club in the upcoming 2024/25 season.
In an interview with Hearts of Oak media, Mensah highlighted his dedication to the team, stating, "I have psyched myself to fight for the club."
The highly-rated centre-back, who recently signed a three-year deal with the Phobians after a standout performance with Nations FC, is set to be a key figure for the team this season.
Mensah, who made his debut in the Democracy Cup against Asante Kotoko, shared his aspirations for the club. "As a new player, I will add whatever fight I can to help the club achieve trophies this season," he said. "I am praying that God will give the team favour and good luck as we enter the season."
Accra Hearts of Oak are preparing for the upcoming Gbese Mantse Homowo Charity Cup, where they will face Heart of Lions. Mensah's resolve and commitment are expected to strengthen the team's performance as they aim for a successful campaign.
After narrowly avoiding relegation last season with a 14th-place finish, the Phobians are focused on turning around their fortunes and challenging for trophies in the new season.
