Hearts of Oak Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frederick Moore has rejected claims the club is working on appointing Serbian trainer Svetislav Tanasijevic as head coach.
Earlier, this week, the former Ashanti Gold and Berekum Chelsea coach stated he is in talks with Ghanaian giants to become the next head coach.
"I have spoken to Hearts management for a possible move as head coach but at the moment due to the outbreak of Covid-19, I am still in my native country, Serbia," Tanasejevic told Silver FM.
However, Mr Moore insists the club is confident in substantive coach Edward Nii Odoom and they are not thinking of replacing him.
"We have got a head coach [Edward Nii Odoom] and we haven't said anywhere that our coach has left so I don't know how we can appoint a new coach unless of curse someone is appointing him for us and we are going to have two [head coaches] which is practically impossible," Frederick Moore told Asempa FM.
"I don't know anything about it. It's unfortunate that either someone is sitting somewhere being mischievous."
