Hearts of Oak get cash boost for massive transfers

Hearts of Oak have been boosted by news that funds will be made available for big-name signings next season, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

The club are believed to be ready to splash out 3.5 billion Ghana cedis to purchase top players.

The Premier League crown has eluded the 2000 African champions for the past three years, with the blame largely laid on lack of capital injection and low-player motivation as the chief reasons.

The club's six-man recruitment committee says substantial investment will be made available for squad re-building.

"The committee has been working on the quiet and we’ve identified the players we think can help our course next season and will make the names public when we finalise the deals," board member Alhaji Braimah Suleimana said.

"We want our fans to be rest assured the right players with the love and commitment for the club will be looked at for next season and beyond."

Not bad at all only if this story is true, but the recruitment committee should bare in mind that its about quality not quantity. They should purchase the best materials, players that can guarantee us trophies not kantanka players. With Harry Zakour heading the recruitment committee i trust them to deliver cuz he is best in GH when it comes to recruitment.

Did I hear 3.5 billion Ghana cedis, that's ridiculous and preposterous. Even how much did the top clubs in Europe spend in buying world class players. Hearts of Wawa, be sincere with your fans and stop lying since this lies will not serve you any good. We're waiting to see the kind of players this money would buy.
