Hearts of Oak legend Mohammed Polo has slammed the club's decision to appoint Edward Nii Odoom as head coach.
The former Hearts trainer claims the decision is a cheap one hence the inconsistent results the club has been achieving in the league this season
Odoom was handed the technical reigns following the sacking of Kim Grant Grant was sacked after he lost the first match against Berekum Chelsea.
The Phobians have won 21 points and sit ninth on the table after 14 games.
“Hearts of Oak need a coach with pedigree and clout. Everybody can develop it because it’s a chance but I don’t know what they saw and they gave him [Nii Odoom] the job. What he can do is what he’s doing. Those who gave him the job don’t they have eyes? If you want cheap things you will get cheap results," Polo told Asempa FM.
Nii Odoom has been working without an assistant since his appointment. The club has assured an assistant coach will be appointed soon.
