Hearts of Oak legend, Amankwah Mireku, says the current happenings within the club is killing a lot of interest and support on the part of the fans.
Hearts of Oak currently are in crisis following the resignation of three of their technical team members within a week.
With the team coming up against Asante Kotoko in their next Ghana Premier League game, the Hearts of Oak technical team has been thrown into a state of chaos following the departure of Kosta Papic.
The resignation started with Assistant coach Asare Bediako who resigned citing personal reasons and measures beyond his control.
Serbian trainer Kostadin Papic and goalkeeper’s trainer Ben Owu also tendered in their resignation on Monday, February 15.
According to Amankwa Mireku, it’s sad how the current management is handling the club.
“It’s very unfortunate that this is happening, that coaches have to leave the club this way”, he told Happy FM.
“It’s a problem. Always there are issues between management and the technical team. Coaches are sacked day in and day out. I will speak on behalf of former players. The leadership should try and also sacrifice for the supporters of the club to be happy, we are all worried by the current happenings going on with the club”, he concluded.
Hearts of Oak have appointed the Club Under 15 Coach Samuel Nii Noi to lead the team at training until a new head coach is appointed.
