Hearts of Oak mourn with Mahatma Otoo after mum's death

Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak visited the family of Mahatma Otoo to pay their respect following the passing of his mum. 

The former Phobian lost his mother, Love Habibatu Ankrah, passed away in March this year after battling illness.

A delegation led by the Chief Executive Officer of the Club, Fred Moore and team manager Sabahn Quaye visited the family of Otoo on Saturday.

"Our CEO, Fred Moore led a Hearts of Oak delegation to visit the family of our former player Mahatma Otoo to mourn with them on the passing of the mother of our former captain," Hearts posted on Twitter.

Mahatma Otoo played for Hearts of Oak between 2009 to 2013, and was captain of the club before leaving to start his career abroAD.

He made 117 appearances for the club, scoring 56 times.
