Hearts of Oak have dismissed claims by Svetislav Tenasijevic he has been handed the club’s coaching job, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.
The Serbian tactician stated on Thursday that he has been contacted by a top board member of Hearts of Oak to take up the coaching rein.
According to the former AshantiGold SC trainer, he will take over the job after the coronavirus outbreak is over.
However, a grapevine source has swiftly refuted Tenasijevic’s claims.
“The claims of the coach is not true as no one from the club has appointed or contacted him over any position at the club,” the club source told GHANAsoccernet.com
Edward Nii Odoom has been acting as a stop-gap coach for the Phobians since the departure of Kim Grant.
He guided the club to 9th place before the league was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
