Hearts of Oak walloped second-tier side Danbort FC 6-0 in a friendly match to wrap up preparations ahead of the resumption of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Winger Douglas Nkrumah grabbed a hat trick with all goals coming from stupendous free kicks while striker Mahatma Otoo and Wilson Andoh also got on the score sheet.

Hearts have been preparing feverishly for their week 13 clash against AshantiGold.

Even though the club have struggled to bring in new faces during the second transfer window, they remain hopeful they can begin the New Year on a positive note.
