Communications Director of Hearts of Oak Kwame Opare Addo has dismissed claims that Kim Grant has been sacked from his position as head coach of the club.

The coach was given a four-game ultimatum to save his job after their defeat against Asante Kotoko in the President Cup last Sunday.

The former Ghana forward however failed to bring joy on the faces of their supporters when they hosted Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

But a first half Jonah Attuquaye’s goal condemned the Phobians to a slim defeat in the league opener.

Reports went rife on Monday that Grant has been shown the exit door at the club.

"Kim Grant is still the head coach and will lead the team to training tomorrow morning at Pobiman" said Mr. Opare Addo.

“It's was an unfortunate that we lost our first yesterday to Berekum Chelsea at home but we hope to work hard and improve on our performance going into our next game at Tarkwa to Medeama.. He added.
