Hearts of Oak striker Kofi Kordzi admits disappointment after extending winless start

Hearts of Oak striker Kofi Kordzi said he and his teammates are disappointed with the slow start to the Ghana Premier League.

The reigning champions extended their winless run to three games following another draw on Sunday.

Kordzi scored for the second time this season as he opened the scoring with a great finish but Aduana converted a controversial penalty for a 1-1 draw.

“It’s a very difficult task because as champions and going three games without a win is very shameful, we are very disappointed but we will try to get back because it is not easy."

“As champions, everybody is trying to beat us so it’s very difficult,” Kordzi told reporters after the match.

Hearts have scored two goals in the league, both coming from Kordzi who returned to the club in August.

“I don’t have any promise for the fans but as a striker, I have my personal target and cannot disclose it.”

Hearts hope to finally get a win in their next game against AshantiGold.
