Hearts of Oak supporters chairman Elvis Herman Hesse has expressed his excitement should Sulley Muntari join his outfit.
Talks of the former Inter Milan and AC Milan midfielder joining the Phobians heightened yesterday but a communique from the club shot the reports down.
Despite the official position of the club on the player, some fans of the Rainbow club including the supporters cheif can’t stop licking their lips on the prospects of watching one of Ghana’s best football exports in the 21st century don the Phobian colours.
“I will be very glad to see Sulley Muntari playing for Hearts of Oak, if even it’s just for a season. It’s not official though, but I have heard snippets of information to the effect that Sulley relish donning the rainbow colours. Moreover he has special affinity for us” National Chapters Committee chairman, Elvis Hesse Herman told Kumasi-based Fox FM.
