Hearts of Oak have confirmed the indefinite suspension of beleaguered striker Edwin Osei Pele following his recent mouth-wide.

Pele, who has struggled for first team action this term, accused the club of denying him a move to Greek giant Panathinakos at the beginning of the season.

The 21-year-old has grown increasingly frustrated on the bench having clinched the pre-season Top Four competition goal king crown.

The club have charged him for improper conduct by going public with mendacious issues about the club.

"After taking into consideration the unfounded allegations against the club in recent times, we have decided to suspend him indefinitely," Club's spokesperson Albert Commey told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"His comments have brought the image of the club into disrepute and we have therefore wielded the disciplinary rod on him."
