Hearts of Oak will be crowned champions of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season on Saturday at Sogakope.

The Phobians won their 21st   Premier League title last Sunday following a 1-1 draw against Liberty Professionals.

Asante Kotoko’s defeat to Bechem United at the Nana FosuGyabour Park confirmed Hearts of Oak as champions with an unassailable 4 points lead going into the last round of fixtures.

Ahead of the final game of the season for The Phobians, the Ghana Premier League giants will lift the title at a venue they suffered their worst ever defeat in the Ghana Premier League by 5-0 to WAFA.

The Phobians will also be hoping to do the double over WAFA in this encounter after defeating the academy lads in the first leg by 4-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Samuel Boadu and his team may also go in search for their first win at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena in this encounter.

According to reports, WAFA will give a guard of honour for the league champions before the commencement of the game.

Hearts of Oak as winners of this season’s league will take home GHC 250,000 plus 40 gold medals.

Second-place team Asante Kotoko will receive Ghc 150,000 and 40 silver medals.

The relegation battle will be keenly contested as five teams are eligible to be relegated at the end of the season.

King Faisal vs Liberty Professionals face off in one of the relegation battles in the final round of matches for the season.
