Hearts of Oak midfielder Benjamin Afutu was named Man of the Match during their 4-0 win against rivals Great Olympics in midweek.

The Phobians made light work of their bitterest adversaries in Week 14 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.

A quick brace from Benjamin Afutu put Hearts of Oak in the driving seat before a 92nd minute strike by Daniel Afriyie completed the rout for the Rainbow Club.

Afutu’s overall display in the game did not go unnoticed as he was adjudged the best player in the match.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been impressive since joining the Accra-based giants during the transfer window.

He has featured in 13 out of 14 league games for the club in the ongoing campaign.
