Hearts of Oak won't impose salary cuts on playing staff

Hearts of Oak board and management will not force salary cuts on the playing staff, according to Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.

Management has left the decision to the leadership of the players to decide if they would like to volunteer to give up their salaries.

And if they decide, they should decided what percentage should be deducted from their salaries.

The report also states, Hearts board chairman Togbe Afede XIV has issued a cheque for salaries for March 2019 to be paid.

The issue of pay cuts has been discussed thoroughly in the Ghanaian media with varied opinions.
