Former Hearts of Oak star, Charles Taylor has blamed the clubs current woes on complacency.

According to the footballer turned pundit, the players have become relaxed after winning the Ghana Premier League last season.

Charles Taylor has rejected claims the players are fatigued after combining Champions League football and the domestic league.

"I don't agree with the excuse that Hearts of Oak team is fatigued. I insist they've become complacent, they have no hunger and also lacking stamina. Are they saying they're fatigued after just 4 games so we should suspend the league for them to rest?," Charles Taylor told Angel TV.

Hearts are yet to win a game in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season, after three draws and a defeat.

The Phobians have also been booted out of the CAF Champions League and will now compete in the CAF Confederation Cup.
