Hearts of Oak have inflicted a fine and suspension on defender Owusu Sefa on charges of indiscipline.

Sefa is to pay a fine of 250 Ghana cedis, forfeit his December salary and has been ostracized from first team training for three weeks.

He is being punished after attracting a straight red card for a rash tackle in the 2-0 defeat to Liberty Professionals last Sunday.

It is not clear now whether the player who has since accepted blame for the defeat is going to appeal the decision.
