Hearts supporters ban Accra-based Asempa FM

The Greater Accra Supporters wing of Hearts of Oak have banned Accra-based radio station Asempa FM from reporting on the club.

According to the group, they believe the radio station has been ridiculing the club's form this season and has been passing disparaging remarks on its leaders.

The Regional Chapters Council wants the media outlet to stay away from their matches and events.

They also don't want them to carry stories about the club.

"We think they have been unfair to us and they have used their medium to tell lies about the club," Regional Chapters Council chairman Barimah Atuahene said.

"Asempa must also not cover our matches and they must respect that."
