Accra Hearts of Oak Supporters Chief, Elvis Herman Hesse, has kicked against the decision to continue the season behind closed doors.

The Ghana FA is considering playing the remainder of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season behind closed doors according to reports in the media.

The FA is said to have informed the government on continuing the season behind closed doors in a meeting held last week.

Elvis Herman Hesse in an interview with the media on whether the season should be played behind closed doors said, "I don't support the idea of playing behind closed doors. Maybe I will get the opportunity to watch but playing behind closed doors is a no for me.

"The FA shouldn't cancel the season but they should rather engage the clubs on the way forward. It will be better to cancel the season than playing the game behind closed doors", he added.

The 2019/20 Ghana Premier League was suspended in March this year due to the coronavirus outbreak.
