Hearts team manager Sabahn Quaye rubbishes black magic "juju" claims

Hearts of oak team manager Nii SabahN Quaye has dismissed claims of black magic 'juju' rejected by former coach Kim Grant.

The highly-respected team official is reported to have told Kumasi-based Kessben FM on Monday that former gaffer Kim Grant blocked any attempt to infiltrate the squad with the unorthodox spiritual method.

But a careful study of the audio circulating on social media points to the fact that the attribution  to the former Black Stars team manager is inaccurate.

Quaye talked about 'luck' which perhaps has been impugn as the black magic.

"There is no where that I talked about juju. Indeed, if you listened to the tape, I talked about getting luck in the team," he told GHANAsoccernet.com

"Luck can come in many forms. Christians,  Moslems, atheist and pagans all have their form of luck.

"The text has been skewed in a negative manner and it's unfortunate.

"I have not and will never say hearts indulge in juju. We don't do that at the club. People have their own beliefs and so will be unthinkable to talk about juju."

"There is so much clarity on what I said. And so I find it shocking that such an attribution has been made to me."

The clarity put to rest the claims the club harbours black magic in the team.
