Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak are planning massive changes to their squad at the end of the season.

According to Asempa Wikileaks, 15 players will be sacked as they seek to rebuild their squad for the future.

This follows a report by coach CK Akonnor presented to the club's management seeking to rid the club of players who are not up to the task.

The ex-Ghana captain wants to build his squad around 29 players next season with 25 outfield players and four goalkeepers.

Hearts are planning to recruit only four players from their Premier League rivals with the rest coming from lower division clubs.

The coach is said to have spotted these players from the lower divsion clubs during the FA Cup competition.

Akonnor plans to sack two non-performing goalkeepers while bringing in two from other clubs most likely from the second tier league.

The club's leaders are said to have approved the decision to weed out some of the players.
