Ghanaian side Hearts of Oak will now appoint Serbian Nebojsa Vucicevic as their new coach after final talks with his compatriot Dragan Popadic broke down, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
"Popadic came up with fresh demands which the clubs could not meet so had to quickly turn to Vucicevic," a source told GHANAsoccernet.com
The 48-year-old Vucicevic is a former manager of former Yugoslavian side FK Radnicki Novi Beograd and his last job was in charge of Serbian second-tier side FK Srem.
Uske, as he is affectionately called, has agreed a two-year deal on a US$ 5,400 monthly salary.
Hearts of Oak are in the relegation zone on 14th-place and will play Mighty Jets in Accra when the league resumes on 2 March.
