Ex-Aduana Stars boss Herbert Addo has flatly denied a purported move to Premier League new boys Wassaman United.

Reports have been rife in the local media that the former Asante Kotoko coach had sealed a deal to take over the coaching reigns of the Tarkwa-based side.

But Addo has watered down on the claims and told GHANAsoccernet exclusively that he is not put pen to paper on any deal.

"It's good you're confirming with me because I have not signed any contract with Wassaman United," Addo said.

"There are about six or so coaches who are there helping them because of a particular programme that they have put in place and that's how far it is.

"Therefore I want to put it in on record that I have not signed any deal with the club. Whichever club I join, you will be informed."

Addo carved a great piece of history when he guided Aduana to win their first Premier League title in their debut season in the country’s top-flight league two seasons ago.
