'He's happy at Madrid' - Bale's agent says he DOESN'T want to come back to PL

Any Premier League suitors in for Gareth Bale have been dealt a blow with news that the Real Madrid forward has no intention of returning to England's top flight.

That's according to his agent Jonathan Barnett who has dismissed the possibility of his client leaving the Spanish giants.

Bale has enjoyed a trophy-laden seven years at Real Madrid since joining from Tottenham Hotspur in a then world-record £85.3million deal in September 2013. In that time he has won 11 major honours with the club - including four Champions League crowns and a La Liga title.

However, despite his on-field success the Wales international is often a scapegoat for supporters, while he has fallen down manager Zinedine Zidane's pecking order.

But irrespective of treatment from supporters or how Zidane views him, the 30-year-old is determined to stay at the club as he loves his way of life there; according to Barnett.

'I have no idea what his value is. His salary is quite high and also where he wants to go is very important in his life. I can't put a figure on it,' Barnett told Radio 4.

'It's for the clubs to decide what they want to pay for him.

'As I've always said, he's quite happy at Madrid. He has a very nice lifestyle, I don't see why he wouldn't see his career out in Madrid probably.

'It's his life that he wants to lead. Financially he will want enough for the rest of his life and all his children and grandchildren. He's won nearly everything in the world except the World Cup.

'To come back and play [in the Premier League] would be a big thing but I don't think he wants to do that at the moment as he's quite happy to play at Real Madrid.'
