Napoli star Gonzalo Higuain is pleased to be at Napoli, but claimed he cannot promise he’ll stay there forever.
He added he enjoys the fans’ love and that it makes him want to play football even more.
“I have a contract here and am very happy about this city,” he told Tuttonapoli.net.
“I enjoy the supporters’ love every day: it makes me want to play even more.
“I cannot however promise I will stay here for life,” he admitted.
Regarding the possibility of breaking the goal scoring record, he added: “It is a great objective, but still far away.”
“Playing at Atalanta is not a good memory for me after missing a penalty last season; I hope to improve this time,” he mentioned about the upcoming Atalanta-Napoli on Sunday afternoon.
