Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi has hinted second-tier side Hikari FC risk life ban for dragging the Eastern Regional FA to court.

A court in Koforidua put an interlocutory injunction on the election to elect the Eastern Region FA chairman following the petition by Hikari CEO Samson Odai.

The laws of the federation frown on members taking legal action against the association and the action of Hikari could have consequences on their future as a football club.

Nyantakyi says Hikari FC decision to head to the court could have repercussions on them.

"It's important to allow the wheel of justice to prevail but the laws on such matters is very clear and so they will be appropriately dealt with in accordance with the laws of the game," Nyantakyi said.

"We don't want it to look as if we are intimidating them or anything but Congress will decide the fate of Hikari for dragging the federation to court."
