Hiram Boateng on the radar of Bristol Rovers FC

Bristol Rovers FC are interested in signing Ghanaian midfielder Hiram Kojo Boateng ahead of the 2020/2021 season with the aim of pushing for a Championship promotion slot.

Rovers manager Ben Garner wants to bolster his squad with five new additions and the MK Dons defensive midfielder is one of the identified players.

Garner knows Boateng from the days he was assistant to Tony Pulis at Crystal Palace. The 24-year-old was in the youth ranks of the Eagles.

Boateng has made 20 appearances for Dons in the League One this season and has one assist to his credit.

He has enjoyed loan spells at Crawley Town, Plymouth Argyle, Bristol Rovers and Northampton Town before joining Exeter City on permanent in 2017/2018 season.

Boateng who is eligible to represent Ghana and England signed for MK Dons in July 2019 on a free transfer.

He holds a British passport and a Ghanaian passport.
