Hirving Lozano has returned to his best form since recovering from coronavirus which forced him to miss Napoli's first two league games of 2022. The Mexico international returned to the starting XI on Monday’s match against Bologna and scored a brace to give Napoli the three points.

In the 20th minute of the match Mario Rui ran down the left flank and sent a cross to Lozano, who dribbled inside the box and found the back of the net with a left-footed shot. A few minutes later the Mexican international had the opportunity to score another, but his shot was blocked by the goalkeeper.
Just before the break Lozano completed his brace when he received the ball inside the box and dribbled past the keeper to give Napoli a 0-2 victory. The 26-year-old playmaker has 20 appearances in the Serie A this campaign and he has scored four goals and provided three assists.
With that result Napoli are in third place with 46 points, two behind second place Milan, and their next league game will be on Sunday against Salernitana. Next month they will start competing in the Europa League where they will face Barcelona.
