Former Ghana international Frimpong Manso believes that Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare's career will be very successful if he maintains his current form and makes it to the 2026 World Cup with the Black Stars.
Asare has impressed in his debut games for Ghana, recording clean sheets in wins over Chad and Madagascar.
Manso urged Asare to keep his form and momentum going into the next international break.
"He's doing well, but for me, he's now entering the squad," Manso said. "Asare has gotten two good games. I hope he keeps his form and momentum before the next international game."
Manso also highlighted the importance of consistent performance, stating, "There are other good players who are waiting for the opportunity and grab it. So if you get such an opportunity and you don’t do the needful, you are likely to lose that spot."
Manso's comments underscore the significance of Asare's current form, saying, "Asare isn’t a young guy, so if he keeps up with his performance at the national team level and he is able to join the squad to the 2026 World Cup, his career will be very successful."
