Holstein Kiel striker Kingsley Schindler has paid credit to his teammates for their surge in form in the German second-tier.

The 25-year-old Hamburg born of Ghanaian descent is also experiencing a rich vein of scoring form.

He has netted in each of the club's last four matches including the brace in the 4-4 draw at Paderborn 07 last month.

Holstein Kiel are now on a four-match winning streak and in sixth place on the table after 15 appearances.

''Our strength is the collective. We are in good spirits together and that's why it works for me,'' Schindler said.

''We always play out chances to score. At the moment we play beautiful and successful football.

''This is a bit similar to last season. Now we want to win at Dresden and with the three points climb the table.''

Schindler has scored five goals in 13 league appearances.
