Horoya AC have sacked head coach Patrice Neveu despite guiding them to the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League for only the second time in the club's history.

Reasons for his sack remain unknown but the club will be announcing his departure and a possible replacement on Wednesday at a press conference.

The Frenchman replaced compatriot Victor Zvunka who also led the club to a quarter-finals berth last campaign.

The Guinean giants finished second to defending champions Espérance Sportive de Tunis after beating Orlando Pirates 2-1 in their last group game last Saturday.

Ghanaian quintet at the club, Godfred Asante, Sebe Baffour Kyei, Brefo Mensah, Patrick Razak and Hudu Yakubu will be working with a new gaffer for the rest of the season.
