Ethiopian champions Mekelle 70 Enderta lost 2-1 to Cano Sport Academy of Equatorial Guinea in the CAF Champions League.

Former Hearts of Oak winger Isaac Mensah netted the second goal when Angola's Petro Atletico travelled to Lesotho to beat Matlama FC 2-0 in the Champions League.

Central defender Inusah Musa was on the bench for the Angolans.

Cameroonian side UMS de Loum held AS Vita Club to a scoreless stalemate in the Champions League.

Zakaria Mumuni started the match for AS Vita.

In the Champions League, Michael Sarpong scored the only goal for Rayon Sports FC as they drew 1-1 with Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman in Kigali, Rwanda .

Liberian Petroleum Refining Company Oilers were 1-0 winners over Senegal champions Generation Foot.

Augustine Mensah Otu played full minutes for the Oilers in the Champions League.

Ivorian champions Société Omnisports de l'Armée failed to beat Mauritania's FC Nouadhibou at home in the Champions League.

Anthony Asamoah scored on of the goals when Maranatha de Fiokpo whipped Liberian outfit LISCR 3-0 in Lome in the Confederation Cup.
