How much Inter could save if they reached a salary cut agreement with players?

A report from today's paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has given examples of how much Inter could save if they reached an agreement with their players similar to Juventus to temporarily cut salaries.

The report details how the Turin based club have reached an agreement with their players to suspend salaries from March to June, which would save the Old Lady around €90 million. If Inter reached an agreement with their squad, they would also save a significant figure. For example, 26-year-old Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku would lose around €2.5 million, considering he earns around €600 thousand a month.

Former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, who joined the Nerazzurri in January, would also lose the same amount, the report continues. €5 million in savings in just two players shows how much can be saved by the Milanese club should such an agreement arrive. Many clubs are hoping to suspend or reduce the salaries for this period.
