How the coronavirus may have actually saved some lives in Italy?

Published on: 09 April 2020

As a result of the strict lockdown imposed in Italy, there were no deaths recorded after a bridge collapsed in Tuscany.

The Italian people have been confined to their homes for around a month, which means there are very few people out travelling.

As a result of there being hardly any cars or people about, only two people were injured by the bridge collapse.

As the daily deaths figures from coronavirus continue to fall, the Italian government are looking to gradually reduce the measures of confinement that are currently in place.
