Ebusua Dwarfs striker Bright Lukman has insisted that his call up into the Local Black Stars does not surprise him as he was expecting to be called because of his performance in the Division One League.

Bright Lukman is one of four Division One player who were handed the call by coach Maxwell Konadu and the Ebusua Dwarfs goal poacher his call up was on merit as he deserved it.

In an interview with GHANAsoccernet.com, Bright Lukman said, "I knew I would be called so when the call came, I was not surprised. I am not saying that because of the number of goals I scored but because I was performing as well."

"So many people did not believe that the coach would call players from the division one and they are surprised but those of us who were playing in the league we knew how tough it was. So scoring a lot of goals also show that my performance was high."

Bright Lukman scored twenty nine goals in thirty matches to win the goal king in the just ended Division One League in Zone Two.
