"I will bring goals to the Black Stars"- Dutch-born Elvis Manu ready for Ghana invite

Former Holland youth international, Elvis Manu believes he can solve the goal-soring problem of the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars.

The 28-year-old, who has switched allegiance to play for Ghana, has not yet received an invite since changing nationality seven years ago.

Despite the continuous snub from the Ghana Football Association, the former Ludogorets forward insists he can bring goals to the Black Stars team.

“Yes, I think that the squad [Black Stars] is good, I won’t say anything bad about the squad but in the last couple of years, what everybody says is that they lack goal scoring players and that is a team I think I am the player to bring it into the team when given the opportunity,” he told Angel TV.

The Black Stars are in Japan preparing for the Kirin Cup tournament.

The four times African champions began the AFCON qualifiers in a good way after beating Madagascar 3-0 and drawing 1-1 with the Central African Republic.
