I will respond to GFA charges at the right time - Young Apostles president Samuel Anim Addo declares

President of Young Apostles, Samuel Anim Addo has declared that he will respond to the charges slapped at him by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Mr Anim Addo has been charged for his remarks on referee Maxwell Hanson on social media when he alleged the latter is the GFA's man for 'dirty works.'

This follows the referee's performance in Accra Lions' defeat to Dreams FC at the Tuba Astro Turf.

Following the questionable performance of Mr Hanson, Accra Lions in a statement has called for urgent reforms to the Ghana Premier League.

In response to the charge levelled against him by the FA, Anim Addo, who is a former Executive Council member of the GFA says he is ready for the consequences of his actions.

“I am a law-abiding citizen and I respect every rule of the game so when the time comes for me to respond, I will do that in accordance with the regulations," he told Joy Sports.

"But what I’m saying is that the video is there for us all to see. If it is good, then that’s up to all of us," he added.

Meanwhile, Samuel Anim Addo has until Monday, January 13 to respond to the charges of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
